Well i managed to rip my catalytic converter off my car the other day  :blush2:.... managed to patch it up but it came off again today so now im having to get a new one....

Went to national and was quoted £273 >:(... i told them where to put it...

Then went to two local dealers (Champions and euro car parts) and was quoted £90 :good: bargain

You could check the regulations on the height and length for a speed bump. If it hasn't been made to regulations then you have a case against the council. A brother of mine successfully claimed against a council for non reg hump. It ripped the sump off an engine. Might be worth a punt?

Its not a counsil bump m8 its on private land..... but could i still challenge it?

First I think I would find out if there is regulatory standard for speed bumps. If the one you hit was not compatible with this it will help your case.
Second even if the first is irrelevant I would think that you cannot have your property damaged even if it is on private property.
You could argue that there was no ground clearance sign at the bump(Was there even a speed bump warning sign?) You do have height restriction signs at bridges.
Your only problem is that it was at work. Do you want to rock that boat? (Was it on work property or in an industrial estate?)

Well my digi dash is almost ready to be installed just got to finish soldering the end on and it will be in.... hopefully in the next week or so :D

Just a quick update.

Managed to get my snap off kit from good old chris, and fitted it straight away and it looks good...digi dash still not in though >:(
