Astra Gsi project

Picked up a j plate astra gsi last night old things not the best to look at but it drives ok and the c20xe is a good. The gsi needs a new arch drivers rear the bonnet is rotten but the guys throwing one in with the vents in but its white and the car is blue. Theres a load of history with it to. Im not fussed about it being mint to look at as long as it stops starts and goes well.

The to do list

Front discs and pads
Handbrake cable
steering wheel
paint the bonnet
new arch
replace front fogs
17s need a refurb
new bottom arms
get rid of the piper x induction kit and put a standard airbox on.


What comes with the car

spare front bumper not needed
bonnet
skirts not needed
koni shocks and springs
remus back box
spare inlet manifold
battery
clifford alarm
calipers

Not sure which way to go with it first thing is going to be getting on the road for the winter even though it will be multicoloured but sound and then see what happens after that i think. The idea of satin black with red wheels is still in the back of my mind though lol...

good looking project there H and really looking forward to seeing it progress.......now on the subject of the bumper and skirts that are surplus to requirements ;) let me know if you have a price in mind mate as i have a good home screaming for them :good:

Nice project and best of luck with it. Those rims certainly got a hammering since the 2006 picture.

Usually we get the before picture first. You had to go and be different. :D

Defo getting rid of the front bumper its in real good nick with the towing eye cover and its white im not sure if the skirts are all complete or not though.

i dont need the door panels with the skirts just the skirts on their own with caps,let me know how much for the bumper mate and if i can afford it i'll have it off ya,got my eye on one at the mo but not sure whats happening with it at the mo  :good:
