Hi all, here is my mate's 1968 Opel Rekord 1900. Fitted with a straight six lump, apart from that its all original!
Ok here's some history ( that i have been told)

The car was advertised on pistonheads about 2 years ago for ?8000 by a drummer.
The drummer breaks his arm somewhere along the line and needs cash fast so puts it up for ?3500 18 months later.
My mate ( the lucky [Censored]) buys it! My hats off to him though as he did get a wicked deal in my mind! 
Supposedly this is the only one left in the country (that specific model).
The paintwork is pretty shabby, uv damage etc. And i think he is planning to get it resprayed during the summer. Body work is in good condition with only a few minor rust patches.
He has bought another v6 straight with less miles webber cams etc. Due to be fitted some time this year! Im gonna keep an eye on the work and hopefully get some more pics soon!

haha well i'm sure he will appreciate such a gesture! As said above we are attending the mini meet tommorow so i'm sure he will sign-up when he gets home. And yes he does seem to have a fair bit of luck at the moment he has just been employed at RBS (IT Support) he's only 20 at i'm sure he is being paid very well, however he is a very hard worker and his success is well deserved.
