The Insignia
« on: April 14, 2009, 01:16:14 PM »

The OH and I went to Vauxhall today and had a look at the Insignia.

I went in there expecting to almost walk out with a set of keys to one but actually, I didn't really like it.

Don't get me wrong, the outside look is amazing - it's just the inside, particuarly the centre console but just looks like it's been made out of the cheapest, nastiest plastic that VX could find.

Oh well, More chance of my Astra TwinTop now! :)

i'm not a big fan either...
i do like the look of the top spec model, but the standard model is falling into the shadow of a mondeo...
just another car designed with the company car driver in mind....

But on the plus side it does leave room for improvement to your individual tastes.

Here is the Insignia that might be worth a second glance.

With 325 bhp, Four wheel drive and 19" wheels as standard it is certainly going to be interesting. Due to be officially launched at the Barcelona Motor Show on the 7th of May.

Do they do a 3.2 Insignia?

I'll have to try and get some pictures of the interior - the tacky bits!
