80's to mid 90's Vauxhall's were really easy to steal. Don't think Vauxhall had mastered things like decent door locks and steering locks. When my Nova got nicked, the thieving w@@@@rs had very kindly left the steering lock assembley behind. The whole lock assembley had sheared in half, where they had forced the steering lock. Having said that, no car is completely theft proof, no matter what security you have.

It's always nice to hear that Nova's are being saved, there can't be that many left now, especially near standard ones. I have seen a few appear on ebay, but they go for stupid money.
Anyways, back on topic, it's always good to know the history of your car. I know the history of my van...... for the past 3 1/2 years, it's been abused and neglected. But I'm on a mission to get her sorted.....
