It was said today that Bradford is one of the worse areas in the country for none insured drivers. Why the hell should we pay their insurance for them. Its a case of the inosent being punished for the guilty.

Its time for the insurance company to wind their necks back in and reward the ones who are legal and push for steeper sentances for the ones who don't pay. They could even help to fund the fight against uninsured drivers and the one who put in false claims.

I agree with you mate. But I can't see it happening in all honesty. I shell out loads on various insurances ( car, public liability and home insurance) each year... all of which see regular rises in premiums.

It's all very well them (the insurance comps) saying it's down to uninsured drivers and the compensation culture, but in reality, it's because they are greedy  :nono: who have mansions and yachts to keep. They all know that us people who are legal behind the wheel, are forced to swallow the costs regardless.

What the penalty for  driving uninsured? Plod seize your car, you get 6 - 8 points on your license and a £200 fine. Where's the incentive to be insured?

Because it is law to have insurance it should not be up to comapnies with fat greedy share holder to provide. It should be government run to keep costs down but after saying that they are just as usless and greedy we only have to look at petrol costs.

Lets face it the open season on motorists is not going to end anytime soon.
