I agree with you mate. But I can't see it happening in all honesty. I shell out loads on various insurances ( car, public liability and home insurance) each year... all of which see regular rises in premiums.
It's all very well them (the insurance comps) saying it's down to uninsured drivers and the compensation culture, but in reality, it's because they are greedy
who have mansions and yachts to keep. They all know that us people who are legal behind the wheel, are forced to swallow the costs regardless.
What the penalty for driving uninsured? Plod seize your car, you get 6 - 8 points on your license and a £200 fine. Where's the incentive to be insured?
