Your Thoughts On PVS This Year?
« on: June 13, 2011, 02:45:17 PM »

Most of our lot thought it was pretty pooh

We were all shovved down on the grass as RV3 was meant to be on tarmac but obviously that blew up so didn't make it. Well why not spend half hour changing the signs then so all of us who were back of sodding beyond where NO ONE went could of moved!

I didn't see any Autocross, was it even there? The Frontera demos were an absolute joke, reckon I could of got the Cally round the course, LOL!

OK the jet car was great, but I got a bit bored of seeing Pugs, BMW's and motorbikes on the strip TBH!

What with idiots bouncing off the limiter all night and getting chucked off (in their Saxo mind) for driving round site like a dick and the Scooby getting nicked I thought it was a bit too much TBH.

Don't get me wrong we had a great time but that was more down to the company not what was on display or going on!

I did see your cars but non of you, LOL! So Hi!

The best thing about PVS this year was the evenings with far to much banter and booze!

Shame we missed you.

I have to say for the 10th anniversary it was pants, I was expecting a lot more from them.

We camped in the family section for some peace but never. Chavs get everywhere.

We are thinking of changing to the Billing show next year. It is supposed to more less chavvy

Theres a bloke i met there on cavmk2.com and he's saying that on the family field some tw4ts roke into the generators, switched all the floodlights on then smashed all the glass on them, the maxxis demo scooby got nicked, this thing is in full drift livery and is a show car and security on the gate did'nt bat an eyelid as it drove out, even though it was'nt wearing number plates,an absolute joke !!!!!!
There is hundreds of people on the forums going mad about the shambles pvs was,the chavvy little b*stards really did ruin it for so many people.I'll never go to PVS again.

PVS and TVLive is always going to be filled with chav's, I have to say I was [censored]ed off that I had to put the car on the mud when all that seemed to be on the tarmac was Astras and Corsas, now I'm not a fan of the later Corsa and have never been of the Astra(unless it's a MK1 GTE) so why the heck did they get the tarmac? One line of 888 was so boring they all looked the same apart from the one with the white wheels. It seems to my that unless that unless you one of the above TV don't give [Censored] just look at the mag over the last few months.

I'm going a work now.

What Mark said ^^
Netwalker, If you have never been to billing (last year was my first) you wouldn't believe how different and better it is than PVS.
I did PVS this year for 2 reasons
1, I brought my eldest son who has never been to pod, but bless him he said he'd do pod again, but the main event as he was also bored of seeing rows of Astras etc
2, to see the lads from the club
The trade area was crap too.
The food vans where low on food, which is crazy as sunday is the main show day.
I've done PVS four times now and this was the worst by far.
10 Year anniversary? LOL
The organisers of that should be ashamed.
Roll on Billing, a proper organised show.

TVL at Combe last year (first one) was actually OK to be fair, plus it's on my door step

Well the Scooby was found and four are out on bail, I'll never know how it got out the gate mind you!
