Ok so..... I swapped my Calibra, the main reason was in the future it was gonna cost me a lot of money, and having just got my licence back with 9 points still on after a revocation i couldn't be doing with the attention it created. I wanted something standard, a blank canvas if you like.
Bear in mind it was a straight swap, i dont think i did bad at all.

So here it is. 1999 Ford Cougar in silver, 2.5 v6. 111k on clock. Full service history, every MOT etc been looked after always serviced with correct oil blah blah, Also has many factory options fitted such as, full heated electric memory leather, climate control, cruise control, front quickclear screen and a few other nice touches,

the only thing i like about that make is the quick clear windscreen.
my corsa has memory leather but it aint electric or leather if im honest  :lol:

That has to be one of the nicest ford cars they made imo.

The only downside is iirc it's the same v6 that they put in the old mondeos and they didn't go too well.

Overall though mate she's a really nice car :)

lol thanks you lot. gotta say it drives really well, and yeah it is the same v6 but i know this sounds bizarre from the research ive done the ones in these never seem to go wrong :/

Front shock abs were [censored]ed, had to strip the brakes to get them off. nothing would come undone the hub wouldn't come off on one side grrr but got it done. and had to replace link bars too thanks to potholes. also got a blow on an exhaust joint but need to find a mushroom gasket first before i take it apart.
