Robs SE9
« on: September 06, 2010, 08:18:53 PM »

My son has just bought this which is now sitting on my drive  :yahoo:

Needs a bit of engine work, either head gasket or oil cooler gone, the pink paint work it came with has been bought back to almost original still needs some work. Has the original BBS wheels and only a few scuffs. Had stood for about 12 months. Bargin at £200. More pictures once he's uploaded them.

95k, awaiting paperwork to be sent on, apparently it was a bloke in his 60's that used it but he's on his hols. An absolute bargin, as i said, it was a bit pink but a wash, tcut and polish has just about restored the paint. Only 3 bits of rust on the wheel arch, a 5p sized bit drivers door and a small bit under the window on passenger, easy sorted

Looks like it is just an oil cooler problem, as an hgv mechanic it should be a doddle for him. He plans to have the engine out for a strip down and rebuild

its always good to see another cali being saved, especially as i have  been  guilty  of breaking a few , but they have always been used to keep another cali on theroad, namely mine, lol

Polish on it's own will not stop it going pink, It will need alot of work to get it back to red and then keep it that way. I'm in Luton in a couple of weeks and can show you what it can look like.
