Hi all,

Hope everyone's good. Right, as many of you know, I have a "lovely"  mk3 Astra Sport hatch (1.. The time has come to replace the front shocks on it, as the original ones are getting a bit tired... and one of the front ones are starting to leak.

So, I am looking for sugestions on replacement items. The car is standard height..... and is going to stay that way. I'm not looking to spend a fortune on them either.... the car ain't worth it.

i would recommend Boge shockers if you are wanting to keep it standard had them on an old cavalier.

It's been a long time since I have had to replace shocks on my own car (or any of my cars to be fair), which why I thought I would seek others opinions.

i had monroes or whatever they are called on the cally  standard jobbys, i got them off the Bay for around 40 squid iirc

i'd recommend KYB shocks part numbers :

oil 665501
gas 365504

upto which you want gas are better though.
