hi there i am a newbie on here, and i own a vectra sxi on a 51 plate, it was my nephew who put me on to this site ,he is tazz666,
i was wondering if anyone with a vectra who could help me out as i have a strange noise coming from the car when i accelarate out of a corner.
it sounds like a grating noise from the passenger rear  :beee:

welcome to VQ9 mate sorry its quiet most of em are at PVS  ::)
i would suggest jacking the rear up and push and pull the wheel see if its got any give on it, if not take the wheel off and give the brakes a once over as you could have a loose pin, something on the caliper maybe even a stone jammed.

is this uncle james by any chance?
