Well thought id start up a WIP as i started stripping the nova down yesterday. Managed to get a fair bit done.

Bonnet, headlights, grille, seats(apart from drivers seat as i needed to get it back up to the garage), complete dash, door cards and wingmirrors.

All thats left is front & rear bumpers, wings doors and boot. Gonna be taking the 1.2 lump out as soon as i manage to get/borrow an engine hoist.

Pic will be up soon as i need to find my USB lead

dash taken apart

Well i managed to start taking the number plates off, front strut brace, rear lights and rear wiper arm and motor just for it to start lashing it down, :suicide: so i had to put the car back in the garage:mad:. Its not the biggest of garages so i cant work on the car until i remove some junk out of it :blush2:

You big girls blouse, Vinny and i where out in the rain and snow doing my v6 conversion ayear past in november,lol :lol:

Yeah but i is scared of the rain, i think i might melt :lol:

Well im going to get on with the nova today with the help of my cousin mark, im going to be taking off the bumpers, doors, wings, boot, and start diconnecting all the hoses and such from the engine, ready for it to be taken out. :good:

Well me, mark and Darrel had a very productive day today, managed to get so much more than i thought i would get done. :clapping:

I think in all fairness to say this is my first time, im not doing to bad :beach: but ill let you guys be the judge's on that.

This is the SEH going down to mine to be steam cleaned

Darrel turns up so it turn to a small VQ9 dismantle day :lol:

Font bumper removed and quite shocked to find very little or no rust on a 19 year old car

Managed to get the rear bumper removed to to find a little bit of rust but nothing major again :dance:


Also got the dash out too :good:



Well the car as it stands now with nothing but the wiring and 1.2 block left to be taken out. you might have noticed in the other pics i got the windows out too :good:

And My cousin mark in the nova, is it me or does the nova look huge??( mark is 6'5")


And the nova going to sleep for the night....
