I was having a meal this afternoon with the mrs and kids. Got back into the car and looking round while reversing I spotted a K plate grey/silver 3.0 24v CD senator looking very sorry for itself sat in the far corner of the pub car park. I asked in the pub but they had no idea of owner. The car was parked up right next to a little unit on a very small industrial estate which adjoined the car park. So after a few phone calls I found the owner. He has offered me the senator for £100! Bargain. But it has an auto gearbox fault. It wont select 4th. Im going to try the usual suspects. ATF and filter, blown solenoid, ecu etc. Hopefully getting it this weekend. NEW PROJECT
