Hi to all......The Calibra Tickford was purchased on the 12/02/10. You may have seen it advertised on E-bay......at an over-inflated price, needless to say i did not pay the asking price! It was said to be "Mint" let me just say that this car does require allot of work to make it so! I plan on using it this year, whilst i gather the necessary parts etc to make good........In the meantime i would be grateful of help with any early Calibra bits,useful contacts, shows, events please.
The interior is.........well.....a required taste, which i plan on altering to my own spec, keeping the original parts in storage for originality.
I have personally admired the Calibra for many years.......i have owned a few in my past ( well i am 51) 'k'reg 16v black redtop.......an se9....and at present, run a blue 2.5 cream leather daily.
I hope this site will prove useful...........and you don't take the Mick too much...........Thanks all. D

parts ....Tazz should have a few bits kicking about or I know of a place with a few bits also

Shows....whree are you in the country?? as the biggest and the best place to find parts and stuff would be the VBOA show In July at Billing

i think between vq9 and clubcalibra.net you would find everything you would need part wise and information wise for your rare cally,have a good look round mate and add some piccys when you get em

see i already have the footwell lights ,ok its a picture of the old interior but i still have them,in the new interior

what i don't understand is its a tickford so all it has that's special is the Badges and interior,now i don't know how much you paid for it but if you remove all the bit's and pieces it would just be a red (for now) cally
i know we had this argument/discussion on a few forums recently about the se's but how would it work on a tickford?

yes vinny you are right it was only a cosmetic change,but the flame red paint as far as im aware was laquared aswell but i may be wrong?

Damo your tickford lights are very nice but this is his thread,im not knocking the cally mate and i quite like the interior in a weird and funky way but ..........i just don't understand
