Problems with my Astra Sport and ongoing back problems have forced me into the arms of a new posture friendly lady so I have just bought this:



1996 Citroen Xantia VSX 2.0 Auto. Auction pic is crap and car is much better in the flesh albeit very dirty. It drives like a dream and takes all those nasty vertebrae crippling bumps in its stride!!
Full MOT, loads of service history and cost the grand total of £350, half of which the wife gave me!

i gotta admit the french can do comfortable suspension it's just the corners they cant get right  :yes:
not bad for 350 whats the millage? chances are it's only been on short runs i would do an oil change first (only old ppl drive em)

IIRC cambelt was done 2 years ago but oil I can't remember if I saw it in the service history or not

Inside it needs a real clean!!! but I'll get that done today with before & after pics :)

Nice one. Hard to beat a Citroen for comfort but Saab do have the best seats in the business. They are designed for posture. Looking forward to seeing the after pictures.

My Mum drives a Saab 900 and loves it!! black, low bumpers, big wheels and a tasty 2.3 engine :P

Dad looked at the convertible 900's but they were to expensive :(

Anyway! This morning, Me & Mum went out and did the cleaning duty and it looks a million times better now, hoovered the inside and the drivers seat was really grubby so mum washed that as well :)

citroens have always had the reputation of having a magic carpet ride,and having some clever ideas, but not for me , but the saab on the otherhand not the new ones but the old ones 1980 to 1990's 900 turbo they were brilliant, i had one

Will get some pictures of my mums up tomorrow, I'm sure a few will like it!!

No idea if it's had the recall done on it but one thing, the handbrake does come up a lot!!! can't be that much of a problem though as it's just passed an MOT?
