:'( The time has come to bid fair well to the luxo barge. As it is very rare I actually get to drive it now, she is in the process of being sold on.

As I type this, my colleague who normally uses the car is in the process of buying the car off me, for the sum of £900! Don't really want to sell her, but it's a case of having to at the minute. Bad times financially  >:(

Hi Vinny,

The reasons the Omega's going are; I can't afford to keep 2 cars on the road, it needs rear tires, front shocks and a passenger side front lower arm. The tax is also up at the end of the month. Also needs a service. By selling her on, I can save nearly £800 on insurance (full comp and business use). On a positive note, I have first refusal if it comes up for sale in the future.

There will not be a replacement for the Omega just yet, I am going to sort the Astra out and get that back on the road. Or I may just get rid of the Astra and get a mk4 Astra estate, not sure yet.

To be honest Vinny, after going through all the fuel receipts for the Omega, I have "only" put just over £2.5k of fuel in over the last 12 months, putting around 16k on the clock. Not sure if that is good or not, maths lessons at school where no existent...... I was banned from them all, apparently I was a bad boy.

Either way, I will keep you all updated.  ;)

If you avarage it out a £1 a litre it works out at 549.9231207477195 Gallons. Which in turn works out at 29.094976mpg which isn't bad for an Omega.

Netwalker Cool, but I'm still on XP pro.

Vinny Welcome to my world, but women also confuse me..... but that's another argument, so probably best not to go there.  ;)  :fie:
