Hi this is my new MK3 project its a 1.4 merit.

i paid £180 for her taxed till the end of october mot till end of november.
there is a slight bit of rust on the arches but nothing major and 2 of the bump strips were missing which wasnt a prob cos ive removed all of them anyways
when i got there to pick it up the bloke that sold it me said im sorry i forgot to mention its got clifford alarm with remote central locking (jackpot)

Got a good base to work with there, jackpot on the clifford alarm too!

Going from what I've seen on the other club, it's changed a lot and looks great but I'll wait for you to update before I say anymore!

the first mod i did was take the door strps off.
then i decided to de-aariel it.


Things to do:
1.sort the bit of rust on the rear arches
2.get some 17inch alloys havent decided what yet tho
3.gsi front brake conversion
4.rear disc conversion
5.complete black sport interior
6.Gsi bumpers, skirts, spoiler and bonnet plus a middle boot spoiler
7.tint windows
8.complete respray in flame red
9.would like to change current sunroof for a sliding 1 the on at there now only goes up and down
10.lower 60mm all round on adjustable shocks
11.bigger subframe ready for engine conversion

I'm planning on putting vectra interior in my car matey but wont be till next year now, but if you still don't have a sport interior then, mine will be up at a good price

sorted the wheel arch using some body filler.




fitted sony speakers in the door i used the old spakers as a adaptor.

me to mate going to get some veccy seats and get rid of the grey plastics i hate them they will be gone soon hopefully

I already have all black trim in the sport thank god but my plan is veccy half leather sri then make them heated, should be cool but wont be till next year

ive colour coded the boot panel
fitted back box
tinted rear lights (cheers for the guide ben)
de-badgeded it
de-wipered it


also sprayed the rocker cover


tinted front indicators
tinted front headlights

green sidelight bulbs fitted




also fitted bright white headlight bulbs they give off a slight blue tint a night



and ive fitted some pug 306 boot lifters on the bonnet


also sorted some rust on the bonnet and upper cross member




thats all ive done up to yet im going to colour code the door handles and de-lock them as ive got remote locking

it sure will be plus my isurance premiums droped by about £300 when i turned 20 plus i would have had my licence a year next week so i might even have a x16xe/l engine dropped in in the new year
