What state is the paintwork in? If its not pouring with rain ill see what i can do with it

It's good, got 2 holes I need to fill where the bump strips were screwed but the rest is all smart! The new wing will be on by then, just then the bonnet and bumper to sort

Anyway yesterday my mate bought his car over, awaits the comments but each to their own!!! and I helped him get a few bits done, he's helped me a bit recently with my bad knee and not being able to sit for long so made sure I repaid him the favour!

After a bit of research it turns out the MK1 punto uses the same bulbs as the mk3 etc so fitted my old bulbs for him as his standard ones were pants!! the ones I gave him give a much whiter light so no more yellow! and also fitted new side light bulbs too!

Anyway, took the oppurtunity for some pictures :)




Also got round to finishing wiring my sub in so that's another job done, all that was left to do was to wire in the power switch for the amp! in my last car I had it in the coin tray but wanted it somewhere else this time so settled for this:



And then using the paint my mate had left I did this to my sub ring, Arden Blue ftw!

not gonna say anything about the Shiat as they are very .... cars,how are you fixing the sub in the boot?

I've got a wooden floor to level it all out and then the original carpet over the top which holds the sub in place fine :)

are you gonna make it so you can get the spare out or not? some do some don't

Nah mate, it's easy enough to get out if need be as the woods in 2 pieces and not screwed down, the carpets only placed on top and the connections to the sub are easy to get too but flipped the back of the seat forward :)

well i was having a looky through my odds and sod's and have come accross some propper hose you could use 
all you would have to do is get hold of a ring unless your putting it in the grill

Wouldn't put it in the grill, probably lower bumper

you can have it Ben it cost me nothing and i would never put it on any of my cars due to using lower luton road every day,it's in the boot just remind me sunday 


but it did cost the bloke i got it from 30 squid
