would i be right in thinking the sump has gotta come off like the x20's?

Yeah I think so, but that's not a huge problem as dad wants it off anyway to clean it all out and then do an oil change *goes to find the new oil filter and sump bolt*

Lmao, i wish i could come down and give a hand, but with only 1/4 a tank of petrol and a provisional license i'm afraid i'm out of hte question :(
if you had decided to do this just before / after xmas i could have triedto make it down! (after getting lost a few times, the furthest i'v ever driven is to llantarnem :/)
