I need something more reliable and certainly more comfortable to drive. Also, I can't manage a manual gearbox very well right now so the Xantia will suit my needs perfectly.

Don't get me wrong. I'm more than a bit gutted about the Pineapple too. I've invested a lot of time and money in it but the oil pump going so soon after a 14 month off-the-road period was really the last straw. You know I practically begged for help across the three Vaux forums I subscribe to and never got one offer of help. So with limited mobility, and now low funds, I have no option but to let it go.

i may not know what im doing but im always up for fixing stuff  :D all it takes is for Mr T to tell me what goes where and we will get it fixed  :good:


im a genuine bloke who has all the time in the world for the right kinda people,aslong as im given plenty of notice i would gladly give up time for any of our members.

Weekend after this one then?  Anyone else up for it?  :nyam:

Oh, and it's Panshanger vinny! Did some flights out of there back in 1983 in the days when I had money to spend on such things as PPLs!!
