I think it might be worth us checking the CAT before we send it for the MOT as well as I'm sure it's blowing!!

Damo, All that's left to do is finish undersealing her, clean the lower engine to remove any oil, finish undersealing the arches and put the rear seats back in :)

Might even give it a clean!!

So, the saga continues. Ben put the  car up on axle stands and promptly discovered a spilt rubber on the new drop link I fitted less than 400 miles ago, not off to great start. Also will be needing a new mid-pipe and cat as the existing one's front joint flange is fubarred. We tried to just get away with just a new crush gasket but no go. So now off to hunt for a cheap replacement cat!

I believe a replacement cat has now been sourced so that, along with the downpipe we have and my twin backbox will be being put on the car and it should sound lovely!!

Also need to get the new leds fitted as at some point as you can't see the dials at night, so think those will be done along with the heated seat switches so it all matches.

The 'French Thing' went several months back to a 'mate'. Nagged me to buy it and then biatched when he found he hadn't got perfection for his £340!

Right, getting quickly back on topic then, we have sorted the leaky exhaust joint now and Ben has been doing stirling work with the underseal. Just have to repair the droplink rubber and book the MOT.

Front subframe has been painted, rear beam has been painted, all arches have been painted, half the car in undersealed and it's had a wash as well :)

On top of that, Ive washed mine to make it look less abandoned and washed/waxed mums as well

Just been out and replaced the bulbs in the interior light for led ones :)

A photo from earlier when I washed it! Clean on the left, dirt on the right:

And the awesome mpg it does, even at 70mph:

All being well with the MOT, me and dad will be going on a well deserved break down to Weymouth hopefully next month before I start my training so the car will get a nice long run and some nice pictures by the beach :)

Nothing much done in the past week or so.
Bad weather and partially cutting off a finger tip has meant progress has been pitiful.
