That looked like fun H. :good:
I tried doing similar in my Espace last year, hydrolocked the engine and wrote the bloody thing off. :lol:

I didn't intend to take the Espace swimming, I got caught in a flash flood.  :bad:
The air intake on a MK2 Espace is just in front of the offside front wheel at low level. In the manual (which I hadn't read before the "accident") it says that you can safely proceed through standing water up to 6", providing your speed doesnot exceed 2mph. I hit 18" of standing water doing around 20mph.  ::)

The frontera in the pics has gone now but ive got myself  another one thats on coil springs now not leafs and sits about 1" higher.
