right well i made a list of what needs doing and im about 80% done, its coming along nicely, just given it a major clean, and polish for the first time, then it was getting dark so you cant really tell just how gleaming it is!

think the cam sensor is intermittantly failing, thats getting done 2moro, and the other 15% is me been picky,

oh also it has been completely removed of all halfords [Censored]! i now have flatblades all round rather than those appalling chrome efforts

sparkplug cover off
airbox out
unscrew top of timing cover (get someone to hold it back)
unscrew the nut (DONT drop it lol)
remove replace done

all in less than 10mins

oh yes PROBLEM SOLVED! i think im almost there now, bit short on funds as its my money pit at the moment, next up is near rear discs and pads, handbrake cable, and a sump as mine has a slight leak

it wont be the sump itself mate , it will be the sump gaskets or worstcase scenario crankshaft oil seals,which can lead you to beleive the sump is gone

i degreased and cleaned it all off, it is the sump its so corroded and its only a slight leak around where i believe the oil pump pickup is?

ill do the whole lot anyway for peace of mind
