Spent another day on her this saturday and i can safely say i broke the world record for longest string of consecutive swear words.

first up i removed the rest of the warm air system thingy, all that was left was a fan/motor thing and some pipe work, so bumper off.



this is the thing in question

next the manifold was to come off, probably for the first time in 15 years, so one bolt snapped and is stuck in the head....



and one got snapped too where it bolts to the front pipe, so more work to do :(

that fan thingie is for the auxillary air, for extra air for the egr system

It did go straight into the manifold. Apparantly it helps with cold starts and prolongs the life of the cat or summat. And its not even needed in this country. The actual egr valve is still attached

I didn't really burn him. I love him to much. It was a wasp I killed thats been [censored]ing my off all day. Sprayed it with black paint then while it was on the floor thinners then match lol

loads of room si take off the power steering pump, thermostat housing and oil return and you will have loads of room to treat the front of the block. don't worry about the back ........who's gonna see that

Put the manifold back on yesterday,

went a bit hammerite happy before though
