Roadblock
« on: March 02, 2009, 12:24:41 AM »

This is my Astra, affectionately called roadblock.
This is because it's always parked on a busy road and slows the traffic.

It's an old slug, but it gets me to work each day.

The picture is deceptive Chris. The paintwork varies from the original red to an awful shade of pink.
There's a few stone chips that need seeing to, but on the whole the bodywork is O.K.
Watch out for it next time you visit the tip, if you come past my way!
Alternatively pop in for a brew. :good:

You were saying you were bored - get the good old trusty TCut out m8 that will kill an hour or two. I have had my fair share of red motors and know they are a nightmare to keep on top of.

Just been checking out a few items on ebay. While I was on there I looked for a bargain buy in the T-cut department.
What drugs are those people on? One shop had a 500ml bottle for ?5.99 with free postage, another had the same item for ?12.99 + ?3.99 postage!!!!!!!!!!!
Me thinks I'll check out Thanet autostore, but then again I might be tempted to buy some other goodies.
By the way, the missus was looking over me shoulder earlier and commented " if you tart that thing up you'll have to change it's name from roadblock to chicane, it's more upmarket".

Nooooooooooooo dont go to thanet autostores mate, overpriced and the bloke has got a serious attitude problem(my personal opinion and not those reflected by vq9),go to bsb over st peters and you'll get a much better deal,if you need more info on where they are you got my number ;)
you'll soon have chicane looking as good as ever  :haha:

I'll second BSB - I got my filler and everything from there!

Try some light T-Cut first, if that doesn't work then try some rubbing compound.

If you're closer, try the factors round the back of Halfrauds - of course it goes without saying to make sure you don't go over to the dark side of Halfrauds.
