My Two Tone Mk3 (56k go make a drink)

I know you've all read that and though gawd, a mk3 painted in TVR paint or similar   :fie:
It started life as a 1.4 Swing, basically a LS with a fancy sticker or two on it. Over the last year and a bit its gained a few GSi and Sport parts. It still has the nasty spi lump in but i simply cannot afford to insure anything bigger.

Well ill shut up for now, and let the pictures talk.

Nearly a year later with the addition of a Gsi body kit and mk4 sxi alloys

Picked up some sport seats on the bay of e for the princely sum of


£1.00




Then the paint sceme changed a little


Sorted a back box out


Then it got decked

Shouldnt take much more to get it looking much nicer, most of the hard work is done.

I dont know Mike, id like to be able to put a bigger lump in this one, but then id want the dents taking out of the shell, and then a respray ect. so i dont know i think the best way would be to get a bigger engined sport in a few years time.

Thanks VXR, means a lot to know people appreciate it.

Me personally i like the 2 tone paint, the only thing id do differently is lighten the blue!

Lol not really Dunny, id lost all interest in at one point over xmas and i was breakin it.  Ive got a list aslong as my arm of things that have gone wrong and one of progress i could write on a matchbox and still have room. find out tomorrow if it passes its MOT. should do, it failed the other week on a tyre and the screen so got that all fixed. Spent all week trying to fix my leaky boot problem. Think ive done it now, just need to get a new spoiler, some new nuts and another boot seal rubber to be certian.  Waiting  to get a new spoiler as my last one flew off at speed on the outside lane of the m20 the other day  >:(

Ive also bought a new gearknob and handbrake lever aswell as some gaiters. Fitted my rad cover Animal so kindly made for me before trax, only taken since september to fit it  :blush2: The resident paint man has given me some very wallet friendly respray prices. Just need to decide upon colours. Suggestions welcome other than ASBO Orange scooby p1 blue and black.

Maybe tuesday ill update this.
